Captain Thomas Neligon has been flying since 1999, with 11 years experience. WHAT IS PARASAILING? Imagine soaring high above the Atlantic Ocean in a specially designed parachute while being towed behind a high tech speed boat. Our custom built winchboats are "state of the art", utilizing a hydraulic launch and recovery system. This provides for easy take-off and landings directly from the flight deck of the boat. Each ride is under control for an effortless ocean thrill ride. You don't even have to get wet! We have( 2 ) 2010 Ocean Pro 31 USCG certified 12 passenger parasail boats. These boats are designed specifically for parasailing. Whether you are all by yourself or a large group we are more than happy to take you to new heights. We offer tandem (two people flying together) and single harness rides. In New Jersey we fly 500' of rope, which puts you approximately 300'-350' high off the water. Each ride lasts about 8 minutes if you fly single, 12 minutes if you fly tandem. Ninety percent of our flights are usually tandem, so bring your flying buddy with you. The entire trip lasts about 1 ½ hours dock to dock, you will enjoy the boat ride and aquatic scenery while everyone takes their turn flying. LOCATION Atlantic Parasail is located at Two Mile Landing Restaurant & Marina, Which is located on the south end of Wildwood Crest ½ mile before the Ocean Drive highway drawbridge going toward Cape May, or coming from Cape May, 2 miles from the Big Cape May bridge following signs to the Wildwoods. We have our reservations booth on the back dock of the Marina. There is plenty of FREE PARKING and deckspace on the dock for those of you that are not parasailing, to just hangout and enjoy the marina life. The restaurant and tiki bar open at 12 noon everyday, for lunch and cocktails. SEASON We open everyday from Memorial Day through Labor Day starting at 8:00 am till sunset. During early May and in September please call in advance to make a reservation. RESERVATIONS Because our Parasail season is a short 3 months, we fill up fast. It's not unusual to be sold out 2 days in advance during the busy summer months. We advise making Reservations 2 days in advance to schedule exactly the time you need to fit into your vacation schedule. THIS IS ONE ACTIVITY YOU MUST BE SURE NOT TO MISS! Due to the limited number of seats (12) on each 1 ½ hour trip, we only take reservations for PARASAILORS.
